Broken

The projects throw me around the office so I don't have time to sit on my desk at all nowadays, so when I saw this empty green post-it stack and a company branded blue ball pen I just had to doodle something :p

I've been away for the last 6-7 weeks. I broke my wrist in the gym and since it hurt and it was painfully slow to do anything with the computer with just one arm I took a small social media/internet vacation. It still hurts when I stretch the wrist but it's definitely better now, I was even able to go mountain biking last weekend. The pain was tolerable but it seems I need to take it slow for a while.

The vacation is over, well, it was over few weeks ago to be exact. The first morning, lots of coffee, extremely tired and the first news when arriving to the office is that the company decided that 240 of us are no longer needed, okithxbai!

So, the house is still covered in mold and 4 weeks to go until the negotiations are over and maybe about week more until we know the results. 2016, you bastard!

One great thing is that I got a free personal trainer for the rest of the year due to accident prone friend... BEEFCAKE! She's been kicking my ass last few weeks and I feel great.

Vacation TIME!

The apartment? Well, it's tiny as hell. And hot as hell. And noisy as it is in the downtown, so yeah. But as said, VACATION TIME! See ya o/

Harry the Summer Hipster

It's summer and Harry the Hipster is at the beach with his Alien friend <3. or something.

We finally found a temporary apartment where to live until the house is fixed or we get our money back. Let's hope it's not for years... 68 square meters for five people... don't know about you, but it's too crowded for my taste -___-  About half what we have now, oh boy :p

Two more weeks at the office and it's four weeks of vacation tiem! woooo! We have only one week at the same time so that sucks though... Then it's playschool time for the boys and the other half goes back to work. I need to figure out something to do meanwhile. I'd like to go to the summer house but I need to pick the boys up from the playschool every day and stuff, let's see.

I'm too busy I say. I got a raise, new fancy title and haven't had time to stop even for a coffee break since. Yay! Well, nothing has changed in the end still working the normal 7.5h a day :p I've heard that in other countries *cough* USA *cough* people tend to work ridiculously long days (for the team!) on their own time, have minimal vacations and all for the illusion of the company really caring about you, maybe? I don't really know but eventually they burn out... :/

Well, here, as long as you are just an employee without any executive powers what so ever, we work for 7,5h per day. And our vacation is 5 weeks, 4 in the summer and one in the winter usually. In this field you need to be a bit flexible on the working hours but for longer period of time if the want us to do long days they need to pay overtime salary or nobody does nothing extra.

One more day to go! Then next four weeks full of nothing. Summer house, nature and coffee ^___^ + mountain biking ofc.

We had this tiny incident at home, she broke her back and she's been unable to take care of the kids for about last three weeks... so I've been a bit busy so to speak. We have a nanny to take care of the kids (cha-ching!) while I'm working and when I come home it's my time to wear the apron until the next morning. And the weekends, oh man... Well, it's getting better and the last week wasn't so bad anymore...

Oh! And these new pens at the office! My old trusty Q-connect dried up and I went to fetch a new one from the storage room and here we are... a new brand... and it's not good even for writing.

Domino effect

I did this about two months ago just before we got twins and I had a combined paternity leave and summer vacation. Seven weeks worth of sleepless nights.... oh, and the amount of poo is incredible! I managed to draw one note while on vacation, but I didn't have time/motivation to upload it to the blog. Coming up later...

Now I'm back at the office and its time to get back on the old and vague schedule ^___^

I'm back!

It's been a while. Happy new year to you all and stuff \o/.

"Let's see how many notes I manage to produce at home now that I'm supposed to be the housewife for the rest of the year :p" ... the answer is zero -___-

The seven week paternity leave was rough as hell. Not because I needed to take care of the kid but mostly because none of my friends are at work during the day so I was forced to be alone with my son most of the day... and it gets boring really quickly. There is a certain limit how many times "what does the dog say?" "woof woof" is amusing. :p For some vague pregnancy reasons I also needed to take care of the kid after office hours so majority of my time went with the kid... and rest of the day 20:00-> I spent with Netflix and World of Tanks :p

So, the picture, I don't like it.I forgot it to the office before the leave and I tried to continue it afterwards but I quickly ran out of ideas and interest. I like the few faces in there though.

I love the smell of fresh (automatic) coffee in the morning! At 0600 the alarm clock kindly reminded me to wake up, hop on to my bike and go to work. It was not until my first sip of coffee that I could start to talk to people and smile. Before that it was more like murderous glances with failed fake smile and deep deep growling sound "mornin'".

It's about 300+ days until my next summer vacation, sad really...

another location change

We moved again for another location. I miss the dull scenery from my window... Now I sit one floor above exactly at the same spot, but it's not the same window and the angle is wrong!

It's a bubble man's web! I did this while doing some online e-learning course. I guess the bottom left corner was supposed to be some kind of explosion, but it turned to a bubble-like thing and I just continued the theme. I never published it before because it's quite boring... no idea in it and it doesn't look anything near cool or interesting.


I've bee in summer vacation for few weeks so the updates haven't been regular and well planned :p I have still few doodles that I haven't taken pictures of so I have enough material to cover the two remaining weeks of vacation that I have left.

Coming up as soon as we get home and assuming that my crappy Lumia 920 still works!
