Fall

So, what's new? They offered me a new job. I went through several interviews, got it... and didn't take it. The whole family has been sick, it's dark and gloomy outside, umm, my oldest minion just turned four and I promised to go to a water park with him, yay.

Oh, a new phone, different  brand, and I don't have my trusty filters even though its the same app... developers these days...

Yes, I know, once again... it's been a while :p About the "regaining the motivation", I'm almost there.

I mean, I have significantly reduced the "unnecessary" online and gaming time and
regained the motivation for working out, mountain biking, artsy stuff and being outside in the nature and hanging out with the family... The nature part is a bit cheating as even though we live in a large city it's basically just bunch of different buildings in a huge forest so you just need to step outside the door and there you are :p

The downside is that I haven't "had the time" to update the blog. Nowadays, if I even start the computer during the weekdays, it's closer to 21.00 or 22.00. It's 9pm or 10pm for you 12 hour clock weirdos. And during that brief moment I either pay the bills or browse my next mountain bike... I think that it'll be this one.

Yes yes It's been a while I know, now let's move on. I was supposed to post this a month ago but oh well... We sold our house and started to search for a new one. After going through hun... a LOT .... of houses we finally found a potential candidate and bought it, yay. It's bigger, in one level and it has a garage o/. It's a bit further away from the office so no more bicycle commuting... well, at least I should have more energy saved for the MTB trips right? The thing is that the closest actual forest with more than ten trees in it, is over six kilometers away and I'm used to basically live in the forest all my life, that sucks :p And I'm not so keen in sitting in overcrowded trains one hour per day either... What have I done! :o

So, my excuse for the lack of any activity in general is the new house process thing... running in the banks, checking the houses and packing. It sucks. Until next time faithful minions o/

One more day to go! Then next four weeks full of nothing. Summer house, nature and coffee ^___^ + mountain biking ofc.

We had this tiny incident at home, she broke her back and she's been unable to take care of the kids for about last three weeks... so I've been a bit busy so to speak. We have a nanny to take care of the kids (cha-ching!) while I'm working and when I come home it's my time to wear the apron until the next morning. And the weekends, oh man... Well, it's getting better and the last week wasn't so bad anymore...

Oh! And these new pens at the office! My old trusty Q-connect dried up and I went to fetch a new one from the storage room and here we are... a new brand... and it's not good even for writing.

The projects are still keeping me overbooked, so no new notes at the moment. Bear with me. I've also been doing some overtime hours so there's literally no time for anything else than work. Well, at least the next salary will be huge :p I'm about to buy a new gaming pc, can't wait!

Doodling old dudes

Bill Murray? ... Sir Patrick Stewart?

This one was done in November, so, yeah, been a while... I had few 4-5h Livemeeting calls to India and here's the result. :) For some reason the first guy I drew reminds me of Bill Murray. And now while writing this I noticed that the guy on the right reminds me of Captain Pickard, Sir Patrick Stewart \o/

I haven't actually had the time to doodle at home or at the office in a while. I've been between two projects that have kept me busy during the office hours. At home there are three boys that keep me busy, and World of Tanks, and Alien Isolation, so umm, sorry :p The thing is, when the work starts to suck ass and you are constantly tired something so easy and quick as posting something to the internet feels like a major task.

Fortunately at least one of the projects is successfully closed. I hope that I have more time on my own desk again, not only for occasional doodling but also because I feel like I get more things done here than in an environment where there is a lot of hassle and staring eyes. My work  requires a lot of thinking, technical stuff, processes, ITIL, and I'm also one of those people who'll implement the new things to the system. So I can't get anything done if there are loud noises around and people constantly disturbing me with ****** stupid questions that I cannot answer before I have time to properly think things through as a whole.

I got the idea while watching the movie Ip Man... Despite the funny IT-hero-like name it's about a man named Ip Man who happens to be the teacher of the one and only Bruce Lee.  If you haven't seen the movies Ip Man and Ip Man 2 go and watch them now, gogo! Donnie Yen is one of the coolest martial artist actors ever.

I've been tired lately so I've been mostly sleeping every evening 19:00-> ... or playing World of Tanks if I've had the strength to power up the computer :p At the office I've been working more and more in various places so it takes time to get any notes complete -___-

... I managed to start new note last week but I'm still extremely busy. It'll take at least the next week the note to be completed.  I run between different locations and do much work with other people at the moment so it is nearly impossible to even touch the post-it stack that's lying in my desk :p I hardly have any time to even briefly check FB or read any news during the day... This must stop! :) The +2000€ extra in the last salary was nice, but I must admit that I am tired.

I know that I could just bring the notes home and finish them in 15-30 mins, but that wouldn't be the same now would it? :p I've got many ideas for notes, but I'm still trying to keep the outcome as random as possible.  Sometimes it's hard to empty your mind and start from the blank if you have persistent ideas floating around your brain. That may be the other reason why this is taking so long... Anyhow, next week, something new... finally...

22:00 - Two hours to go and the week ends... I made it in time... sort of!

We all know the feeling when the sudden strong sneeze fires up the fart at the same time, ehm, right? Imagine if we were dragons ;p

As always the note has been ready for several days, but I didn't have the time to update the blog. It seems like the pace at the office will remain like this for several weeks (BUSY MODE ACTIVATED)... lucky me! We are ...- 22:06 - crying baby alert, damn - 22:15 -... We are moving to new location (again), this time to the main office, yay! This should be our final post. And there is also a two day seminar I need to participate in so I don't promise that the next note will reach here in time so bear with me :p I hope that I have time at least to finish it -___-

Damn I'm slow. Few sentences and +-30min :p The writing consists of Internet browsing, crying babies, lots of deleting and rewriting, skipping songs in iTunes, spell checking, more coffee etc. So much trouble for talking (writing) to empty walls.

...coming home

Yeah, this one was not one of my best days now was it?  Last week I watched Neon Genesis Evangelion anime and started to draw something. Good series, a bit depressing at times. I tried to maintain the Post-it art randomness, but this just happened. It took only few minutes to complete the whole thing. <Depression alert> I guess sometimes I really feel like I'm drowning. There is no real free time... busy, busy, busy... no time to relax and breathe even at home.

A bit happier note coming up next week, I promise!

Did I just skip a week?

Oh my, I just noticed that I haven't posted anything last week, sorry!!!

Last week was hell, literally. On Tuesday and Wednesday I worked from morning until 23:00, damn you system updates! On Thursday morning I slept few extra hours and also left home few hours earlier... thanks flexitime ^___^... and slept rest of the day.

On Friday our department had an annual party so take a wild guess how the next day went... It was fun though. We had a small competition with activities like archery, disc golf and some weird petanque-like game. Later we also had sauna and chimneyless sauna options. I haven't been in chimneyless sauna in years, ah that gentle smell of smoke sure brings back memories.

Anyhow, thus I forgot the whole blog thin :p Oh, and let's not forget the other major issue here:
