We are moving tomorrow, meh. My headphones, the ones at the office, broke last Friday and I have no one to approve my purchase so there's no music or calls through the computer until I'm back from the holidays. One more audioless week to go and it's four weeks of ultimate relaxation... WOOOHOOOOOO! or something :p

Home sweet home

Home, mold in Finnish, and that's what has been haunting us in the past few months. We have four houses in our, eh, housing co-op(?), anyways, and at least one is doomed. They took some lab samples from the rest of the three houses yesterday and we'll see if they have anything in them. Basically this means that if we have only one mold house our company can mange that, it'll be around 100-200 000€, but if we have more... I guess we must sell our houses and land and hope that it covers all our depts :p Happy times!

Oh yeah, you can guess what this did to my bike funds :p

Does it ever end?

...great, more snow...

It's perfect time to post this as when I did this there was snow, lots of snow and now we haven't had any snow in weeks, I'd say it's been like this almost a month... but... today... more snow, oh man, I already changed the bike tires and all.

Two more days and it's time for my two weeks winter holiday. I got some spare days left over from last years summer holiday + few extra days because of the Easter, thank you religious people for these lovely public holidays ^___^. We are traveling North to the place where people wrestle the polar bears and eat reindeer! Well not really, no polar bears in this country, we eat reindeer however... I'm getting sidetracked too easily nowadays... we are going to see the my grandparents, uncle and quite unfortunately, my dad, yay -__-.

The winter came! and went away!

Been busy, forgot to post new notes...

Thanks to the crappy winter it's been surprisingly easy project to continue cycling through the winter. I bought Schwalbe Ice Spiker Pro studded winter tires so the ice isn't a problem. When it's cold the snow is easy to deal with as it's so light. It's not too slippery, and the trails and bumps don't suck the tire in...  However, the crappy winter continues and it's not even icy anymore... wet slush, now that is difficult stuff to pedal through :p The front tire just keeps searching for any solid contact with the ground. Just when you start to feel comfortable the tire climbs on top of the snow and your balance is off... And just when you think that it's going to be ok again the tire plunges through the slush moving the front part of the bike 10 cm left or right and the balance is off again. And good luck trying to steer through any tight corners.

It's still fun as hell though!
